Finished the blanket... what's next?

Success! I finished the blanket for Abby (good thing too since the shower is tomorrow). Thankfully Mike was very understanding and was content to sit next to me while I was ferociously knit all this afternoon :-) (pictures to come soon!)

Now I need to decide on the next project, Maybe I'll go back to the shrug I was working on in January for this December.

Busy Life...

Wow, it's been over a year since my last post... not good. Well between all my friends getting pregnant and having babies I haven't had time to knit much else other than baby blankets. Along with planning my wedding it seems as though there's no free time!

I just signed up for ravelry last week, I can't believe it took me so long to find it! Such a great site, now I need to catalog my stash, hopefully it will give me some ideas as to what to do with all the yarn I have!

My current project is Lion Brand's "Baby Tree of Life Afghan" It's coming out great! The baby isn't due til September, so I've got a bit of time still.

Other projects recently completed:
-Mint Green Basket Weave Blanket for Sarah (due in June)
-Light Purple Cabled blanket for Samantha Feigan (Eric and Liz's daughter)
-Purple Diamond Weave blanket for my neice Joey (SO CUTE!, but I guess I'm biased)

Up next in the queue
-Finish my Red Glitter-Spun Shrug by Christmas Time (let's see if that happens!)
-Maybe a blanket for my friend Mike? (Also expecting in September)
